Taïoumusic

Taïou is a french singer who likes to put the feelings first in his songs. With his guitar, he told us different stories that make us feel nostalgic, maybe sad but also full of good feelings en hope.

After a long trip in south America, he went back to Europe full of inspiration and decided to release an album "Le petit prince".

He took his bike and went on a trip, from Marseille to Paris by bike, his objective is to sing his song where he goes and where he can. In a bar, on the market, at a street corner or during a festival.

He is a real traveler, he goes where the wind leads him.

My role :

On the morning of the shoot, I discovered the music and we thought about possible shots. We shot in Annecy, so I know the city a little, but not as well as Typhaine, the director. So I offered my ideas and Typhaine told me where we could go to shoot the film.

Once I had all that in mind, my main role was to shoot and think about the composition. So we spent an entire afternoon exploring Annecy and its surroundings to make this music video.

The challenge :

The difficulty here was arriving without any real idea of what we were going to film. The work was done in a single day. So we had to be efficient in pre-production and filming, which isn't always easy when you want to achieve a beautiful result. But we managed by combining our skills.

The gear I used :

I used my FujiFilm XS-20, an APSC hybrid camera that I take everywhere. Despite its small size, the technology it contains allows me to shoot very high-quality images. It is equipped with a Tamron 17-70mm F2.8 lens with an ND filter. In addition, I was able to film on the move thanks to my DJI RS3 mini stabilizer, which is very practical due to its size.

The clip was shot in 4K at 29.97fps.
