Ve-Tham
Ve-tham is a massage practice in Cessy, in the Pays de Gex region. It is a training center offering courses in massage, energy healing, and spagyric medicine for adults, teenagers, and others.

Since 2022, Adélaïde (the director of the massage studio) and I, have been working together to develop the brand image of the Ve-Tham salon. In total, we have produced about ten videos together. These videos serve different purposes: the one-hour and thirty-minute ones are comprehensive massage tutorials for people looking to learn the craft. The 30-second to 2-minute videos are designed to introduce viewers to the world of Ve-Tham and the practices promoted by the institute.

The first challenge was learning the vocabulary of the massage world, particularly that of Ve-Tham. In addition, creating long tutorial videos was a first for me, both in terms of filming and editing. I had to adapt my equipment to be able to film for such long periods, as each shoot lasted between three and five hours.
I also had to edit the footage in a way that respected the privacy of the people being filmed, while still properly highlighting the techniques performed by Adélaïde.

At first, I used my Fuji-Film XT-30 to film, but it was nos pratical during long shoot. So the upgrade was a must so after I used my FujiFilm XS-20, an APSC hybrid camera that I take everywhere. Despite its small size, the technology it contains allows me to shoot very high-quality images. It is equipped with a Tamron 17-70mm F2.8 lens with an ND filter. In addition, I was able to film on the move thanks to my DJI RS3 mini stabilizer, which is very practical due to its size.
